We are very excited to announce that one of our colleagues and one of our self-employed couriers have taken home a win at this year’s National Courier Awards!

Now in its 28th year, the National Courier Awards’ aim is to recognise and honour exceptional individuals in the courier industry who consistently excel in their roles. Every year, we join fellow courier companies from across the UK, both large and small, to collectively celebrate the achievements of those in our industry.

The lucky award winners receive lifetime IoC membership which sends a clear message to employers, clients, and other stakeholders that they, as recognised members, have committed to industry standards and quality of skills to benefit the service they provide.

We're now delighted to announce that Patrick, from our Courier Recruitment team, and self-employed courier, Abayomi, walked away with an award eac at this year's gala. Both Patrick and Abayomi were recognised for their outstanding contributions to the courier industry:
 

• Patrick was honoured with an award in the ‘Office’ category. He was nominated for consistently going above and beyond in supporting our courier recruitment team, as well as his role in delivering 450 onboarded couriers for the NHSBT contract earlier this year.
• Abayomi walked away with an award in the ‘Superhero’ category after being recognised as an ambassador for the industry. In particular, he went above and beyond by performing CPR on a patient he was delivering to when they went into cardiac arrest and supported them until the emergency services arrived, ultimately saving their life.

Patrick and Abayomi were chosen from a short list of six people in the CitySprint family so we wanted to say a huge well done to both the winning individuals, as well as the rest of the deserving nominees!
