European Contact Centre & Customer Service Awards 2023 four-time finalists
21 August 2023CitySprint is honoured to share that we have been named as finalists in four categories at this year’s European Contact Centre & Customer Service Awards (ECCCSAs).
Now in its 23rd year, the ECCCSAs look to celebrate organisations across Europe that are setting the example in delivering exceptional service to customers. Last year alone the awards attracted entries from 32 European countries, with over 1,250 industry professionals attending the ceremony where we scooped the award for ‘Best Customer Service Team (Large).’
The four categories CitySprint are shortlisted in this year include:
- ‘Greatest Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) Impact’
- ‘Best Employee Experience (Small)’
- ‘Best Customer Service Team (Small)’
- ‘Contact Centre of the Year’
‘Greatest Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) Impact,’ a new category for 2023, recognises organisations that can demonstrate a healthy approach to sustainability, culture and ethics, and corporate risk within the context of the customer contact operation; and the impact this has on customers, employees, and the business.
Responsible business practices set up within CitySprint to reduce the company's carbon footprint, give back to society charitably, and promote a fair and transparent workplace are just a few of the reasons we have been shortlisted in this category.
‘Best Employee Experience (Small),’ another new category for this year, features organisations that can show proof of a supporting culture that has thorough recruitment processes in place, enables people to grow and develop, supports flexible working, values employees’ overall wellbeing, and has great employee engagement programmes.
For the second time this year our employee-focused CSR initiatives have received recognition after the recent win at the UK Employee Experience Awards 2023.
‘Best Customer Service Team (Small)’ aims to set apart customer service teams that are doing something outstanding and/or different and can verify the impact they’re having on the business.
It's great to see our team’s exemplary customer service efforts have been recognised for a second time this year following the recent finalist nomination at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2023 in the Customer Service Award category. This further emphasises the performance improvements made to CitySprint service levels, quality of service, and customer satisfaction.
‘Contact Centre of the Year,’ looks to identify in-house contact centres based in Europe, with less than 100 employees, that can put forward a strong case of an efficient, effective customer and employee-focused operation.
This nomination also considers some of the impressive progress made by our London and homeworking customer service colleagues including improvements to call abandonment rates, average speed of answer, and email resolution times.
