Introducing our new ‘Delivering What Matters’ awards

We are thrilled to announce our quarter 3 winners who have gone above and beyond to deliver what matters to our customers, colleagues, and wider communities.

The ‘Delivering What Matters’ awards replace our previous quarterly employee reward recognition scheme titled ‘CitySprint Heroes’.

This new scheme is designed to highlight the colleagues who stand out for demonstrating the right behaviours in the workplace and reward them accordingly. Every quarter, there will be six winners that represent each one of our values – accountability, caring, flexibility, honesty, passion, and respect. By demonstrating these values, we hope to always deliver what matters to our customers, colleagues, and wider communities.

After 50 colleague nominations, we are now proud to announce those winners. Without further ado, here are this year’s quarter 3, and the first-ever, winners of the Delivering What Matters awards:

1. Accountability – Graham D.

“Graham was chosen as our ‘accountability’ winner for excelling during the implementation of an important client contract. He has been called an ‘absolute superstar’ to work with, delighting both the customer and his colleagues through taking accountability for both the start and settling period of the contract.”

2. Caring – Ross C.

“Ross’s exceptional response during a serious road accident involving a courier showed immense compassion and dedication. In a difficult moment, he not only supported the courier in a scary situation but he also helped calm the locals whose vehicles were damaged during the accident. Ross demonstrated immense care for all parties involved.”

3. Flexibility – Derek B.

“Derek demonstrated outstanding flexibility during a recent go-live contract in Glasgow by adapting his schedule to be available on-site to oversee the transition and ensure everything went smoothly. He played a crucial in managing any potential issues, as well as giving everyone great confidence in the overall process.”

4. Honesty – Ryan G.

“Ryan has been recognised for his excellent work on implementing a rollout of laptops with a value in the millions for one of our clients over an eight-week period.  Due to his honesty and support, he managed client expectations, and more generally ensured all of his colleagues felt supported during the ordeal.”

5. Passion – Jordan B.

“Stepping up to take additional responsibility as a team trainer within our strategic support team, Jordan’s passion and dedication to help develop the team has made a huge difference. Thanks to him, his colleagues feel really well supported, as well as feeling confident that they can deliver great service to our customers.”

6. Respect – Adam Y.

“Adam was identified for his commitment to delivering the best service to his colleagues, customers and couriers daily. Since being at CitySprint, he has formed fantastic relationships and has consistently helped others to achieve their objectives. Adam has done this all whilst always doing what’s best for the business.”

We’d like to offer a huge and well-deserved congratulations to all of this quarter’s winners. We’d also like to give a special mention to all the other nominees for being recognised by their colleagues for demonstrating the CitySprint values.
