Empowering our people to play their part in the climate transition.

We’re proud to announce that we recently hosted our first Climate Fresk workshop for colleagues to raise awareness on climate change.

Climate Fresk is an engaging and informative card game and workshop that teaches the fundamental science behind climate change and empowers participants to act. The objective of the workshop was to raise awareness on climate change and to provide an environment that allows colleagues to think and discuss actions to mitigate it at scale.

Delivered by Natasha and Barbara from CitySprint’s CSR team, alongside Caryn-Ann Allen, Sustainability Associate Director for the Geopost Group, to the CitySprint Executive Leadership Team, the initiative is being promoted across the whole Geopost Group as part of a wider movement at La Poste Group.

The interactive workshop involved colleagues receiving cards showing causes and effects of the climate system. Participants were then required to arrange the cards in order of cause and effect to reveal the relationship of human activities on our society.

Working together sparked some innovative ideas amongst our colleagues that are aimed at strengthening CitySprint’s approach to sustainability and social responsibility, and each group had a chance to share their views with the room.

Our CSR team are also planning to deliver these sessions to more colleagues, to continue raising awareness and better understand how our business can play a part in building a sustainable future.
