Same day delivery, zero emissions.
Working towards cleaner air for each other and our community.
Reducing our carbon footprint
Working to create a healthier and happier community to live, work and play in is a job for every one of us. As a primary emitter of greenhouse gases, the transport and logistics industry have a key responsibility to help tackle the issue of air pollution to reduce our carbon footprint.
We take our role in this challenge very seriously and are dedicated to doing more to reduce our impact on the environment for our customers, colleagues, couriers and the communities in which we work.

Helping deliver our sustainability goals
Since 2015, we have introduced zero-emission vehicles in both London and the regions. Some of the sustainable vehicle options offered to customers are:
Pushbikes
With the largest pushbike fleet in London, this original zero-emission vehicle saves 2.5 tonnes of CO2 every year.
Cargo bikes
The electric-assist bikes can deliver up to 50% faster than a small van in urban areas and save 4 tonnes of CO2 per bike, per year.
Supporting local initiatives to tackle climate change
We were certified as a carbon neutral business, 18 months ahead of our original target to achieve this by the end of 2023. To minimise our carbon footprint, new initiatives are always being launched to help drive change.
We have recently signed up to the Leeds Local Council e-van trial – this means we have telematics recording current van mileage and how we might be able to bring about further CO2 savings using zero-emission technology.
Even better, we have partnered with Aura Brand Solutions to provide GreenGuard Gold accredited livery for our vehicles. This means that the inks, glues and non-PVC materials are environmentally friendly.
Implementing environmentally friendly processes
We have reduced the number of non-clean air zone compliant vehicles available but our fleet is only one part of our CSR story. We also run all our 34 sites on 100% renewable energy and aim to convert all operational single-use plastics to recyclable or biodegradable products by 2025.
