Norfolk & Norwich Hospital Pharmacy delivers prescription medicine to patients’ homes across the county. They had been relying on a hard-working volunteer service to fulfil this important daily task, but increasing demand in recent times meant that a failsafe professional service was needed to ensure absolute safety, security and efficiency.
Live tracking and customised messaging
The pharmacy needs to deliver between 50 and 90 prescriptions each day, so the team created a strategically planned route in order to streamline and optimise deliveries.
We also ensure that every customer receives a personal text message the day before their prescription arrives, to help ensure ‘first time’ delivery success, and a live tracking facility, so that progress can be monitored at every stage.
